On Thursday I posted on Face Book a detox/ cleanse I will be doing during this coming 2 weeks. I never thought I would be writing about it; but I will share it with you by popular demand 🙂
On April I blogged: Spring, Time to De-Clutter the Body and Mind where I describe a simple process to do so.
Did you know that the liver is the main regulator of the blood?
It regulates contents of blood including sugars, fats, protein and hormones, which are messengers from other parts. *(1)
I have experienced Hypothyroidism and later on Hashimoto Disease (autoimmune disease in which the thyroid gland is attacked by a variety of cell- and antibody-mediated immune processes), I found that a sluggish thyroid is often secondary to a long-term sluggish liver. The trick to improving the thyroid permanently is to first improve the liver. That improves digestion.
Also in the same way that liver regulates physical substances, it also regulates moods and emotions. Liver is associated with the happiness emotion*(2) (The anger emotion indicates your liver is not functioning properly).
Either way is convenient to maintain the machine working, the emotions flowing and keep the energy active.
For me it was very important to find a Detox plan using all natural foods, no supplements and based in Ayurveda Medicine.
This detox is designed by my naturopath doctor and taken from Dr. Andreas Moritz books The Liver and Gallbladder Miracle Cleanse.
Note: Before starting any type of diet, detox, consult first with your physician, educate and inquire your best path , there are many detox/ cleansing out there and not all are adequate for you.
There are 5 things you need to do before you start:
1- Have clarity
4- Take action
5- Keep your goal in mind
Finish strong 🙂
My purpose is
NOT to lose weight, is to clean my body so I can enter a clear emotional state, be more energetic and relaxed. All this for my own spiritual growth.
It is not easy , I have to prepare emotionally, cook and prepare foods in advance.
As in everything in life: there is a gap between the wanting, the starting point and the finish line; and it is in those moments where the power of one’s choices happen. In this gap is when procrastination occurs; where we encounter our own power when the feeling of fatigue and hunger intensifies; It is the best moment to work our positive mind, learn how to stretch , it is when you will find the connection between your body and your mind.
“Your consciousness resides in your body, they are synchronized.
The body should be loved; you have to be your best friend. It’s your house, you have to clean all the junk and remember that it is at your service continuously, day and night.” OSHO
Love to ride this journey with you Thank you. I will be posting my progress during these 14 days.
